My air conditoner in my 95 Suburban quits intermittantly. For no reason it
will blow warm air and hopefully it will again blow cooled air. The unit
has been serviced in 2002(compresser etc) and again in 2004. GMC repair
shop has no solution (but charged me anyways). Any thoughts? Thanks

does your have rear a/c ?
i learned from some of this forum that if you do not turn on the rear a/c
whenever the front one is on, you will kill the a/c.

Never heard of that and the rear one has a thermostaitcally controlled
expansion valve so it would not flow much freon when not in use. You
need to check charge levels in system and check pressure cut out
switches. Try jumpering them over (lower side first) with a paperclip
and see if compressor runs and cools okay for starters and if it runs
get some pressure readings if possible.
