iv had a 300dti disco for a few weeks now and its proper gutless , its on 35" tyres mind but if i put 4.1.1 diffs in i will get the gearing back to normal ?
it still is a slug , ok iv a 540i bmw as a daily drive so most things are gona feel slow !
i had a p38 deisel and that was ok , still not fast but pulled ok , and iv a p38 overfinch 570 and thats a fast 4x4 but not a off roader
iv been thinking about binning the 300tdi and putting a 3.9 v8 in but then its making it water proof
so has any1 put the gmc v8 deisel in a disco ? to me it seems best off both , v8 and a good motor to off road
any thoughts ?
