Glow plugs

I changed the glow plugs as there were a little worn. When I took them out 3 of the 4 they had oil on them. Should I be woried about this?

check yer haynes manual it should have little piccies showing what they should be like, and little piccies showing what they shouldn't be like

The ends were worn out but the shaft after the thread on the inside was coverd in engin oil.

don't worry about it mine are the same when you put your new ones in get a 3/8 drill bit and run it in the holes just to clean them up stop your new plugs shorting out
