Glow Plug Warning Light

Hi All,
Further to my Thread last month, My TD4ES now starts OK but the Glow Plug Warning Light does not come on at all.
Could it be a blown Bulb, in which case is it easy to change without removing half the Fascia? or is it maybe a fuse problem or loose connection?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

How cold? Recently bought a 2003 td4 & the guy I bought it from said the bulb had gone. Might it just be that it's not coming on because it's too warm? If the bulb hasn't gone, then at what temperature can I expect to see it light up again?

The bulb is an LED (just so you know) and isn't replaceable as far as I know.

As for how cold... Mine came on this morning. The ambient temperature was < 10ºC.

I read pages 70 thru to 72 but I could not see anything that actually states the light does not come on when the ignition is turned on. In both of my previous Diesel engined Freelanders, whenever I switched the ignition on, in any weather, very hot or very cold, the Glow Plug warning light always came on.

oh ..

mines 2006 .. parked outside .. gpwl doesn't always illuminate ..
only does in colder weather ..
but does illuminate at ambient temps that are somewhat higher than stated in that pdf document

maybe it's location .. morning breezes .. shade .. dew drops .. etc etc ..
or some ecu 'setting' dependant on vehicle year ..

wouldn't expect to see it at all at the moment with ambient temps the way they are.

TD4 is a quick engine, generally during winter it only flashes on briefly (blink and miss it), when it's super cold (snow and ice cold) it might only be on for a second or two.
