@payydg , have you not 'Skin So Soft' with you? The British Army and the locals swear by it. This and one of these these kept most of the midges at bay in Scotland last summer...
Haha, yeh, living in Scotland we have a stash of smidge in all vehicles. There were that bad this summer. I remember I was camping on mull once and they were so bad I almost packed and got back on the ferry.
