Get yourself down the pub and save yourself all that "blood, sweat and tears!!!" Only joking, a good vehicle for a project. I own a 1991 Tdi Discovery and its my everyday vehicle, Off-road toy and on-going project. Every time I think i'm winning, my hand goes back into my pocket for something else. (wouldn't swap it for anything! who needs spare money anyway?) Good luck with the search, ebay is a good place to look for a cheap vehicle but try and view it before bidding.

Where are you? I know of one that is for sale at about that price and I think it even has some MOT on it. It is located in Burton on Trent, Staffs.
