I haven't driven my TD5 defender (1999) for a week. In stead, it's been stood out in the heavy rain. Now it's started clicking like a Giga counter in the presence of mild radiation !
When I disable the alarm / immobiliser, it stops. But then starts again some time after as though the alarm has reset itself. (I've been suspicious that the alarm resets its self for some time).
I'm presuming the noise is coming from the siren. But where do you think I should start looking for water ingress ? I've no idea where any of the immobiliser components are.
