Getting interested

Aye Aye.

Like the signature says, I'm a Taffy out and about, and decided it was about time to get a hobby car, and a Landy is what I've always hankered after, which is what brought me here.

Before you sellers get all excited, I'll be looking for a left hand drive Defender from Germany or Holland (or anywhere else I can get a good deal) I'll be importing it to Finland (110% car tax -yay!) and purely use it to put a grin on my face, which is why I'm kind of settled on a V8 3.5. Though as a total LR Newbie, someone might point me in another direction?

I'm just settled on the fact that it has to be a SWB Defender (that is not so expensive that my better half will divorce me when I surprise her with it) and that goes like stink.

Oh, Crap. I sound like I'm having my mid-life crisis, and going out for a penis extention. I would hope not, being a sprightly (ha!) 36...

Very nice weather today! I've just moved here for good but I'm not out that often due to family. I usually find myself in silvers, molly gwynns or the boarhouse. Are you here for long?

Just moved here in 'permantly' March, but travel most of the time with work, and on weekends, I try to get back to see the family in Finland (or the wife comes here). Have been mostly in Rosie O Gradies, and News Pub so far...

Off to Denmark tomorow, the Sweden for a week; But might be good to go for a pint (or 3) if our schedules co-incide sometime in the future. It's be good to pick your brain about the Landy, as well as talk about something other than work for a change ??
