Noticed that I'm getting loads of reciprocated waves and some initiated by fender drivers....

The secret......

I've chopped the plastic ****e off the bottom of me front bumper and given the bumper n end caps a lick of finest black paint, oh, and Ive got a lovely array of 4 leds on roof n 2 on bumper.

The clincher though....

LandyZone - Land Rover Forum stickers on my wind deflectors!

I think the same applies from Fender to Fender. I live in the sticks where farmers drive defenders for practical reasons rather than enthusiast reasons. No waves there :)

You do get waves from defenders with stickers and or LED's :D

Quite a number of farmers are enthusiasts as well! ;)

I never wave at anything with stickers and LEDs on, only to interesting classics.

The farmers round here only started giving me a wave after about a year, when they realised I was a local!

Noticed a lack of waving in the new defender compared to my old beaten up one, I put it down to it still being shiny :) I don't tend to wave to discos, too many shiny ones driven by little old ladies round these parts, but I'll always return one

i had a disco driver flash me the other day (the lights that is!!) suprised me so much i just put my thumb up instead of the proper wave!
