Hi guys
Well after a lot of thinking me and my mate who i have just recently moved in with ( family ) have decided to buy another series, looking at buying a s111 swb diesel prefured but a petrol will do.
my mate has had one before and this will be my 4th series but this one joint owned, a disco1 would be better for what we want it for but we have been quoted £1,700 to insure one and £300 to insure a s111 swb so in the long run the s111 would be better.
we plan at some point fitting a 200tdi with a recon'd series gearbox as i have done this conversion before on my last one a s11a swb and it just transformed the car but think the same conversion in a s111 swb would be better as there are no headlights in the front panel so would be easier fitting the intercooler and pipes and if need be range rover diffs and an o.d,
my juices are flowing now
