I bought a 95 Geo Tracker with a 2 piece hard top, it seems very nice altho
when I take the front section off its so darn big and bulky its a pain to
store (or I have to leave it at home), my other tracker I had years ago was
a 94 soft top, that was fast and easy to unclip and flip open the front
section...
My problem/question is since I have this hard top setup I dont have any of
the actual metal framework that was on my other tracker, I see all these
softops available online and such but am I going to need to find the innner
metal frame pieces too or when you buy a replacement softop do you get the
framing too?
Basically I like the rear hard top section but the front hardtop is bulky
and a pain, could I add a bikini only front section or if I decide to pull
the whole thing am I going to have to go find a inner metal framing
structure for the new softop?
Silly questions maybe but I am just looking to make things easier and was
looking for some advice from other owners, I never messed with replacing or
removing or adding anything like this 2 pc hardtop setup on my tracker
before.
