Hi guys, does anyone have one of these kicking about (used but fully functional) as I'm trying to see if the aftermarket brassy coloured one I've just bought is b***ocks. I believe genuine black ones are slightly tapered and only screw in so far before tightening up with socket.
My disco runs perfectly but while on LPG and slowing down (at lights etc) the Rev counter bounces between 800rpm and 450rpm then once at a standstill it levels out but with a slight flicker now and again.
I just would like to try a used genuine one before I splash the cash on a genuine brand new one....
Long haired commandant has got a tight hold on purse strings...
