Series 3 Gearbox Speedo drive

Morning all. anyone know if the
speedo drive in an original LHD lightweight gearbox with KPH speedo head the same as a RHD ? or is it the worm drive in the speedo head thats different ? my idea was to take off the face of a knackerd KPH and put it onto a MPH head !!!!!!! would it work ?

theres only the 1 speedo drive in the box ,differences are in the head unit

Thats what i was afraid of ! Looks like i shall have to hunt for a KPH head

What is the turns number on yours should be on dial may have a KPH version.

The only number i can find is on the back of the speedo head ..160 on a small sticker ? if thats any help ...if you have one for sale can you PM me with a price

Ok the numbers on front should be here this one is 860 turns /kilometer

Does yours have the trip reset as mine does paper number on back is 273 160 might be no trip counter version

You can have it for £10 + postage
