Gearbox rebuild

Hi everyone
whilst perusing the interwebs I came across this thread on the lr4x4 forum. Its really informative with loads of good piccies on it which would come in useful to someone doing this job. Makes me tempted to practise on that spare gearbox I've got under the decking

just tap them out ,holes are provided for that

Had a box with no holes in it so had to use the heat method,go on samc88 have a go and let us know how you get on.

early boxes dont have holes ,you can drill holes or lever race out with a heel bar,you can easily relax the ali and new race isnt held as tight as should
