06 TD4 Manual.

After around 30 minutes or so, it becomes noticeably harder to change gears. No crunching but just difficult to engage gears.
Worse when it is sunny as it is today.

The clutch was renewed about 3 years ago. The bite point is very low and has always been low, so not sure if this has worsened since the clutch was done. Possibly but I can't be sure.

Any suggestions on what I can check?

maybe check the gearbox oil level as well ..
just to be sure ..

I might put it into my local gargae for checking as I am currently suffering from sciatica and limited to what I can do.
I certainly couldn't mess around under the car.

I suffer sciatica too. It's not pleasant at all.

Had it a month now and although it seems be improving it is still agony and difficult to do some basic tasks.

Just to be clear, yes my last post was poking fun at the two previous posters for their decrepitude but unfortunately the backache comment weren't. It was all for me cause I've also had sciatica for around 20 years. o_O The result of years working as a computer engineer and having to carry very heavy laser printers and 20" CRT monitors around.

Hope you didn't spend a sleepless night worrying if you'd offended people!

LOL, If we were dogs we'd have been put down years ago. :p
I go to see a girl every 5 or 6 weeks for a back massage, helps keep the worst at bay. ;)

Too scared to ask, She's 6 feet tall hand has bigger muscles than me. She calls herself a sports therapist not a masseur so might be not be a good idea to ask for 'extras'. :p
