Galvanic corrosion

Am spending a small fortune on a rebuild, including galvanising steel body cappings, seat box bottom etc. I know that corrosion can happen between Aluminium and galv steel. Any advice on prevention would be a great help. Which rivets to use, barrier tape between, waxoil etc ?

I use bitumin gutter sealer as its stays flexible and is insulating. Be wary of stainless as it is more galvanic to ally than galv.

YRM sell rolls of the stick back tape you need in widths that work. Not hugely cheap and you could probably get the same effect cheaper but I used it and it’s good
