Fuse blowing

Has anyone experienced a situation whereby the fuse that supports the interior lights, clock and odometer etc. keeps blowing? I change the fuse and it lasts for a short while then blows again.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

This is a TD4 2003 model.

Sure you are putting the right size fuse in.
Do you mean the dashboard lights or the ones the door switches bring on ?

I am putting in the fuse size as per details on fudse box. The lights effected are the ones the door switch brings on.

The simplest thing to do is to replace the bulbs. One of them could be on the way out and getting into some wierd failure mode. Check nothing is loose in the lamp fitting and correct as necessary. If that doesn't work then it would seem that the wire loom itself my be the issue.

Of course, the other question is, there is no aftermarket gadgetry that has been added on. The interior light is always a good candidate for a power source. Tow bar continuous live? Seen dafter things...

Update.

The cause in the end was the dashboard clock which looked fine but was causing a short.
