Hello all,
I have 110 CSW 200 TDI, bought when I was 16 and restored to a varying degree owing tomthe fact I rand off to the RAF and left her behind with the Stepdad, his work shop and his mates! Notably a respray, plenty of chassis welding, all new seals, tyres and wheels replaced, winch rebuilt, bumper and steering guard powdercoated, all new doors (series). I'll attempt to add pictures.

Somnow it has come to the point at which I'm going to come to drive her any more than the short distance to the workshop and back (she passed her MOT with no advisories a month ago- not bad for and '88 110?!). So I will be giving her a service of sorts as the history is sketchy and nothing has been done to the mechanics of the wagon in my time...

So apart from the obvious things, engine/gear box oils, filters, brakes, belts etc. What would ypu guys reccomend being carried out, either by me or my mechanic (I have a degree of competency being an aircraft mechanic soon to be techy)

Cheers,
Shepp

New cam belt kit, test the glow plugs and injectors.
Valve clearances, coolent system flush, test thermostat.
Change brake fluid if not already done.
Strip clean and regrease wheel bearings, uj's. Drain refill swivels.

As ex RAF a/c engineer myself you should have the spannering skills to do any mechanical job on it (even if you are a rigger :p). Welding is something different and will have to be learnt but it sounds like you have that covered already. Apart from routine maintenance just tackle any snags as you find them rather than letting it get worse.
