Hello all, first post here
I picked it my first Defender this week. I'm enjoying it but got a shock when I brimmed it with fuel for the first time. I normally just switch off and hold the pump until it clicks. However, no click from the pump, just fuel spilling on the floor.
The tank was replaced about 3 years ago (I have the receipt) so I presume that's fine. I had a good look and found there is a port which is unsealed.
On the right side of the tanks, there are three pipe connector ports: the main filler, the breather (both hoses connected fine), then a slim one further forward. I have nothing connected to this.
What is it for and how do I block it off reliably?
Ps. I took a pic but can't seem to post it from my iPad.
Thanks.
