Hi, my first land rover broke down in Romsley- Fuel pump, 2000miles and 3 days out of 1 year warranty, my second land rover broke down in Ombersley- fuel pump- the lever fell off inside the engine.
My third land rover is playing up, and i think it is the fuel pump, i had bought a Bpart replacement in preparation for change and put it into stock.
My fourth Land rover broke down outside Redditch last sunday. Yes- Fuel pump!
Wait , it gets worse; the fuel pump in stock (over 12 months) was fitted and..... It didn't Bloody well work!
So i stripped the old one as i found i couldn't blow through it In the direction of fuel flow. The non-return valves had stuck. obviously due to unleaded petrol. So it was cleaned and refitted and i was back on the road the next day.
Anyone else had problems?
