ok that makes sense,defender thankfully its leaking a bit so got to find the leak.its on the unit .
so can i refit the existing unit with seals etc or is it just a case of fit another one?

There was a thread on here were someone stripped a regulator down and replaced the O rings with some success. They also came up with a small mod that should prevent further problems. Cant remember who it was though and I aint searchin for yuh

Best to change the complete unit, did mine a couple months back on my Disco. An extra pair of hands is useful, I removed the tunnel and was able to get to it this way (with assistance). But since you have a Defender should be pretty straightforward
