My Vitara failed its MOT this week on corroded fuel pipes. There is one 6mm
pipe and one 8mm pipe. No-one round here seems to stock 8mm fuel pipe.
Does anyone see a problem using 8mm central heating copper pipe?

Thanks for replying guys.
James: I am in Derby
David: sounds nice, but its not a "Show Machine" so would probably be over
the top for what I am doing.

The stuff I supply is more FIA motorsport spec than 'show only' but i agree
that if you don't need it ( by regulations or demands of job ) then it could
be an expensive option.....

Hi everyone and thanks for all the useful suggestions. I have now done it
using 8mm copper from B&Q ;-)

Steve - well clipped-up thx for that one.

Steve (R L) - didn't think about plastic as wasn't sure what MOT man would
make of it

James - great info, nice vehicle :)
Didn't like the rubber pipe idea, if I was gonna do it I had decided to do
the full run from front to rear so would rather use metal.
I know I *should* take it offroad, but haven't yet. That website about
green-laning in the Peak District might be just what I need to kick me into
it ;-)

Thanks again to all
