Hi

Me fuel gauge goes to full every time I switch the ignition on which would be a good thing only I know ive only got under half a tank of fuel. So is the sender unit knackered-if so how easy is it to get out or is there something else i can try?

Cheers
Chris

Is it a 90 with mid tank - if so it's a 5 minute job, but as daft says it is likely to be a short. You can get the old sender out in 5 mins and check it with a multi meter (just remember where the three wires go! - there's an earth, a sender-gauge wire and a fuel-empty wire)

We have one with no wiring… can you help and tell me where the wires go ?
