Hi all. Apologies I know this has been posted about before.. I have a fuel gauge and fuel light issue in my 1992 90 200tdi. When ignition is on the gauge does move up slightly but never over a quarter tank even though the tank is full. The fuel light never goes out and has been on since I bought the defender.
I’ve disconnected the sender green wiring and gauge reads empty (light stays on) grounding wire makes no difference gauge still says empty.
From reading other posts.. should there be three wires to the sender? Or just two? In this case I have two which is black/green and black. On the back of the gauge I have green/black and green (which is linked to the temp gauge)
Any help massively appreciated!
