This may at first come across as a very daft question.
What is the fuel cooler matrix for, does the fuel pass through this after the injectors to cool the fuel before going back into the tank. If so why?
I intend to run my TD4 on veg oil, I have run many miles on the stuff before with a Kia and not had a problem.
Engines and pumps prefer the veg oil at 70C. I can heat it up no problems but dont want it cooling down again as It better coming from the tank warm.
I do quite a lot of long trips so sometimes I am forced to fill up. If the cooler is there to cool the diesel what will happen if I disconnect (bypass) it.
I may have to place a bypass valve in there to switch from diesel to Veg Oil?
I can trace the fuel lines but as the weather is foul I thought I would ask here first.
Kind Regards
Stephen
