I've got a recently replaced Camden Supercharger for sale. It was
replaced one month ago by Camden directly. It's a new unit, not a
rebuild or old stock. Have receipt. New manifold also, less than 2
months old. Basically a completely new setup!

Reason for selling? I have a 7.8:1 motor and need more than 8psi
boost. I'm going turbo or to a larger Eaton blower.

The blower has less than 1k miles on it. I have two pulley setups for
it, 6psi and an 8psi setup. LC engineering recommends the 6psi setup
for stock motors (along with premium fuel).

In additon, it comes with two types of manifolds - one for a weber
2bbl carb and the other for a Holley carb (390cfm or 500cfm).

The kit is relatively easy to install, requires removal drilling one
hole in the block near the engine mount for an oil return (or put it
directly in the pan yourself). It is oiled by engine oil pressure.
It's a typical roots type compressor and produces 6 or 8psi under
current configuration, at about 4500 RPM. Boost is immediate and is
RPM dependant (unlike a turbo)

This can be used on an EFI setup and a 20R setup, but LCEngineering
was just finishing the casting for the EFI manifold. I believe they
have the casting for the 20r. I have no information on how to use it
for EFI.

I spent a ton of money on this unit. LCEngineering wants $2500+ for
the blower, a carb, and a fan setup.

Required for install:
One hole in the block for oil return.
T-fitting off the oil pressure sending unit.
Pulley setup (included)
LCenginnering fan setup or go to an electric fan (not included)
Modification of the weber 32/36 carb or go to a weber 38.

Accessories:
manifolds for weber & holly carb
New style blower manifold.

This is the most recent design of the camden blower, it's not old
stock that will fail due to poor gear design, improper lubrication,
and it is currently made to a specific spec (early models were
basically hand made).

LCEngineering avertises 30-40% power gain with this setup and the 6psi
pulley.

I haven't dyno'd it, but my motor was over built for this setup.
I can tell you that I pull up some pretty good inclines in 4th gear,
cruise 90+ mph in 5th gear. The major increase is in torque, not HP.

I've had both a weber 32/36 on it and a weber 38. The weber 38
responds better. I've recently retuned (drilled main jets) for the
32/36 and it works fine. When you hit the 2nd bbl of that carb, the
truck will go. I have an A/F guage installed.

Light blower whine, depending on how tight the pulley is. Interesting
sound.
