Sadly, I need a gas miser car this summer to run back and forth to
Halifax and I could not find a way to keep to vehicles, so here is my
baby, hopefully it will find a good home:

I would not sell my 89 Toyota for $6000 when it was offered to me. If you
are a doubter of their quality and value, try finding one. hawk

I used to have a 4-runner (1990). Mechanically those trucks are A-1, however
I have never seen anything rust like that before in my life. As far as i can
tell they almost all rust like that. The one forsale here looks like a
pretty nice truck from the picture, but good luck getting anywhere near what
you are asking for it.. Unless it has feekishly low km's.

I have a 17 YO Land Cruiser (diesel) and would laugh in your face at
anything in the four figures for it - or even in the lower end of five
figures.

People get their money out of Toyota trucks and TRUE SUVs by being their
second, and last, owners.

PS - the Warn Winch, roo bar, and ARB shockies are very expensive and add
substantial value. ARB is not a good company (I say it stands for All
Rotten Bastards) but their stuff is expensive and has a loyal following.
Personally, I prefer TMJ but it's hard to find here....

FYI I bought my shocks from Old Man Emu before ARB started putting their
name on them :) And to the other guy, it does have some rust on the
tailgate and around the fender trim, better than average for a Toyota,
worse than everything else of the same year :)

I believe they moved from 3rd generation recycled scrap to one owner
scrap to melt down to make the bodies around that time :)

I had an '84 4x4, you could stand and watch the box rot off of it after the
third year but the cab stayed good for 10 years.

'82 Landcruiser BJ42 (Diesel) here - I agree I would laugh and anyone
offering anything under $12k for it. These are solid trucks.

Not sure I can say the same for the 4Runner though. The OME is about $2300
alone though !

Raffi, where are you located? We have a Landcruiser club going in HFX.

If you check the 84-87 you find the box is made in USA (CA) while the rest
