Not specifically land rover, but I will explain.

I am rebuilding an old fashioned living van to go behind my traction engine.

To this end I will be fabricating a steel chassis and mounting some original running gear to it, also an existing body.

The running gear is sprung, and the original front springs exist, but not the rear.

Looking at available off the shelf replacement leaf springs, it seems that the 11leaf fronts suitable for diesel series land rover seem my best bet, particularly as I can by all the clever swinging bits for the back end to mount on my chassis off the shelf, and it will not hurt my bank balance greatly.

I am at the point of weighing up the options, and am sketching out my chassis ready for ordering the steel. I accept that there are a lot of variables that may effect my mounting arrangements, but it would be useful as a starting point to know what distance between the spring mounts on the front of a Series Landrover chassis is?. Say centre of the front mount hole, to the centre of the rear mount hole.

Can anyone help? I do not have a randy lover of my own to measure.
