hi guys, noticed a build up of what looks like oily dirt on bottom off both front shocks, so i guess its time to replace them, any recomendations anyone as in make, type?
i noticed this when tracking was checked as both front tyres wearing more on inside edge, both the same, toeing out im thinking, but apparently its dead on, parallel, i was told!, parallel seems logical, is this right? and if so i wonder if there gauge is right?

how bad is the oily dirt? If its only a bit then clean them off and keep an eye on them, I wouldn't change them unless they were ****ing out!!!

Tracking......If its paralell which i think it should be then check all your ball joints on the steering, any excess play will put the tracking out, if all is good, set the tracking to 15 mins toe in and try that.

hiya red , if they are leaking mate change them !, i just fitted 4 on my 4.6 hse monroe gas shockers they cost about £ 120.00 for the set free delivery from island 4x4 and i find them great no problems :)
