All ideas on how to get my front shocks off. The bolt on the bottom of the shaft is very tight. Grinder looks like it could be coming out. I have got some new ones on order as they need replacing anyway, so i'm not scared to use it. The bolts on the turret started to brake off so that one is easy.

Yeah, mine were properly seized on when I did mine. Nothing more satisfying than sparks from a grinder flying all over the place.

Use copper grease when you fit the new ones.

Saves paying the electric bill for the grinder next time.

Copper grease is a must. It was the nut being in a small space i was having problems with. Poor thing is getting on a bit now, so it's time for so new ones. Looks like they have been in from new.

Ah i see. I think mine were original also, but i managed to get away with an open ended spanner carefully inserted, i think its an imperial size but im not certain. I also had to use the trick of 'extending' the spanner with another ring spanner, to get the leverage on it. You get yours off in the end?
