Front shock absorbers. Discovery 2

What's the easiest and quickest way to replace the rubber bushes on the front shocker bottoms.

I wasn't aware they came out. When I changed my shocks recently they came as a complete unit. I would think that if the bushes are gone, the shocks are too.

Bushes come complete with the steel inserts, you have to push the whole bush out and fit new ones.

If you get an MOT failure due to bushes worn, check that it isn't just the moulding rubber flaking off the steel insert. I had that on ours, had a close look and took it elsewhere, passed first time.

Probably worth changing the whole shock absorber by the time you've battled with getting that bush out.

try roa100040 just press out and new in

I had an advisory on the last MOT last year for the shock bushes so rather than faff about changing them I fitted new shocks myself for the cost of about £56. Took about 3 hours and I have never done anything of the kind before!
