All the yellow ducting stuff should be treated with caution as it will be something to do with impact protection, like airbags. Unplugging it? Well, you'd **probably** get away with it but for the one time it goes bang and the expense if it does, probably best take the battery cable off?!

Still got all fingers now got to strip seat bottom out do I have to remove the 2 big bolts that seem to hold the cover in place

Hi Pete.If to you remove the four torque boltsT40 I think, same as the ones that hold it to the Car and take the back off,you have to release the cover, its held with a long plastic clip and a couple of steel spring clips. A hook makes the job easier. Then turn the base over and remove the four smaller torque bolts that hold the metal frame to the base, then it's just more metal and plastic clips to release the cover sides.it's then held by hog rings and steel wire if its easier for you once the frame is off its not too heavy so if if you want to send it to me complete I'll sort it out and pay any extra. Cheers, make the missus number one priority first.Stay safe.

Cheers Alan tried same torx driver won’t work will av another go tomorrow put some penatrating oil on overnight

Not really Alan I got that one because it had a ps3 fitted in the boot for my then 3 year old daughter to watch films or play games and she spent most the time in the front of the car with the missus sitting in the rear the little cow used to moan about sitting in the front

Sometimes the plugs come loose on the yellow wire ,and flag up a warning on the dash ,they don"t go bang,,But if your taking the battery off ,still wait about 30 minutes to be safe :rolleyes:o_O..

I haven’t taken the battery off yet still got things to do need power for but I’m planning on stripping out the dashboard so it will be all disconnected for that cheers
