Front Propshaft

Hi all,I've just got my hands on a mint double cardon front prop (part no. FRC 7697) working length 24" including T/box output flange for a 5 speed LT230 for £62.Was that a good price?
What I really need to know though is it going to be difficult to fit to my 1997 300 tdi Disco with a manual box?I lifted it by 1.5" & got this prop to cure the usual problems on of props on lifted landies.Will it need lengthening/shortening?Has anyone fitted one to their Disco?Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated!
