Front panel removal

I'm just looking at the order of priority of few jobs this year. I might decide to remove the front panel (panel in front of radiator which the grill attaches to) and replace it with a galvanised one.

Can this be removed / replaced without removing the wings and radiator?

Thanks - even with the Haynes manual it wasn't clear. I assume it's a very straight forward job then

3x nuts and bolts underneathe then hoses and bolts through wings 1/2 spanner x 2 or 13mm and 7/16 spanners x 2 or 11mm

Thanks buddy - much appreciated. Without looking (i'm away from home at the moment) Which hoses through the wing would they be? I assume not the radiator as this sits behind the front panel? Thanks

Hoses off the rad AND bolts through the wings. Easiest to take the rad off with the panel then take the rad off

my poor writing wires where they go through panel to wing ,you will need to support rad well

Wires, on my one at least just unplug. Like it's been said easier to take the panel off with the rad still attached. Nuts and bolts were a birch to undo first time I did it, most just sheared, replaced them with stainless, so it's a doddle to do know.
