Hi all was wondering if you could help me.

I have a 2002 Freelander TD4 ES and today i removed the blanking switch where above the switch for the rear fog lights. When i removed it i noticed it is wired up behind.

What i would like to know is the wiring for the front fog lights already there and is it just a case of drilling the bumper and plugging them in.

Also if the wiring is nto there where would i plug the fogs into to meet up with the wiring already on this blanking switch.

Thanks in advance

I know manufacturers often fit wiring looms to take additional equipment at later dates. You'll just need to find the ends of the loom behind the bumpers.......good luck ;)

Be very surprised if it is pre wired .if it is let me know as i.m just gonna fit some, however i was gonna get a heavy duty relay 12 v tap orft the head beam to an in line fuse and via a new switch in the cab to energize relay , nother tapped supply from tother side of ingnition on ,in line fuse to relay contacts n/open to the fogs , maths for you earthlings using your earth formula P = V X I P=power in watts[size of your bulbs x2 if you fit two] V = Volts 12 in this case so if yer bulbs are say 30w . . . 12 divided into 30w= 2.5amps + 2 [if yer got two] =5Amps so a 6amp fuse and cable size to 15amp should do nicely, first fuse for relay bout 1AMP all safe and well job sorted hee hee ,it pays to be crazy. . .;)

If i get them ming then i will get someone else to fit them as i am not that way inclined. I can do audio and multimedia no bother but this is way over my head.

Do me a favour, Just take out the blanking switch on your car and see what you think, it definately has wires to it just dont know where they end
