Front Down Pipe 200tdi

If I loose the 3 bolts that hold the front exhaust downpipe to the turbo, will it just drop and lay on the floor? or will I have to loose it off underneath at the next join??.
Need to get at my stater motor, looking at other posts this is the easiest way??

it will need undoing further along at first joint

Thanks, thought it would have just lay on the floor.
Best get some WD 40 on the bolts for a couple of days before I have a go.

and depending on your vehicle you may need to remove the round gearbox cross member which bolts across the chassis, I always have to

yeah some idiots have been known to fit engines gear boxes and nip them all down ..... then try and fit the downpipe .........

DOH !

Use your farm jack to spread the chassis and the cross member drops out once
