The check strap on the driver’s has decided to pop out of the runner/rail. It’s still attached to the door with the little lynch pin and r clip. I can pop the roller back onto the runner when the door is shut, but next time the door shuts it just drops out again.
I can’t see what’s changed! It’s like it’s stretched or moved, but I can’t see what can move.
Anyone had this before? I

It's been years since I last did mine (14?) But I recall a square piece of rubbery stuff that acted like a bump stop. That's maybe split/fell out.

Sorted. The bracket with the slider rail had moved ever so slightly over time, allowing the strap to fall out. The plastic cover that hides this bracket has a tab on the end preventing this from happening.
The ‘click’ that happens when the door is opened to prevent it closing again too easily (if that makes sense!) is more definite now and the door actually stays open even when on a slight slope or if you fart on it.
