front chassis repair panel question.

Hi.
I have to replace the front chassis section where the bumper goes on. And the spring mount.
I can repair whay I already have or I could replace. Means I will have to remove the spring mounting. The springs look Very tough. Are they a pain to get back into the mount once dropped? This will prob determine if I repair or replace....

Easy enough with a bit of jiggling though don't be suprised if the bush inner comes out with the bolt

I have recently had mine done, you can buy the chassis section for around £35/40 per side.I did not trust my welding and Nitemare of this parish did mine. Real superb job,do a search or go back a good few pages to find "welding chassis" plenty of pictures from my motors work in progress. Nitemare has a jig to line up the spring positions all in all a superb job.

Regarding getting the springs off I had to use heat to mine off the expand and shrink the metal and finally come off. Can be right pain to get them off.
