Front brakes should now work.

When I bought my series a few months ago the chap I got it off had a MOT done. I think it was just for a list of repairs but he never did any.
I managed to download the old fail certificate and one of the items was poor brakes.
The front brakes are 11 inch with the twin cylinders but on inspection one slave on each side was totally seized. I'm amazed it stopped at all never mind received only an advisory.

I don't know much about Land Rover Brakes but three of the cylinders I've just binned are aluminium. The forth a cast iron one. All have been replaced with iron. I just can't see an aluminium one lasting as long. Not that I knew I had a choice?

Stick with it, well set up twin cylinder 11" drums with mintex linings are very good. If not you are doing something wrong. Just don't expect them to stop after dunking in water !

That's a bit scary.

How did you know I fitted mintex.

Are you that drunk that keeps moythering the hell out of me on my drive when im upto my earlobes in grease...........
