The Snowdonia Park Glass rep has been in contact.......

He's got the police to close mach and happy.
Some idiots went up both in the storm now both are now completely impassable. He's sending some picture's. It is closed from today 24/02/2017.
They are commonly refer'd to the happy valley byway and mach horseshoe (also known as Bastard lane) outside Coris and Bryncrug, South Gwynedd.

Typical LZ story blowen out of all proportion!

News in from North Wales:

We have been advised by Snowdonia National Park Authority that due to recent activity and the devastation caused by Storm Doris the byways from Machynlleth to Bryncrug (commonly known as Happy Valley) and Machynlleth to Corris (Horseshoe lane) are currently unsafe to drive and have been temporarily closed by the Police.
Further details will be due shortly and will be posted here as and when available.
The Green Lane Association reps are currently in communication with the local authorities to find out the extent of the damage and what measures can be put in place to reopen both routes as soon as possible.
May we respectfully ask If you intend to visit the area this weekend please be mindful of the situation and avoid both routes until the matter is resolved.

Many thanks
North Wales GLASS reps.
