"Hope you don't mind me posting this, I know it's not strictly a Landy theft, more theft from a Landy but I know a lot of us Landy owners are heavily active in the outdoors world!"
Hi everyone. I turned over my landrover last night on the B846 just south of the Schiehallion Road turnoff.
While I was off at a house 100m up the road to call out recovery (no mobile signal) someone stopped and nicked half of my gear from the overturned vehicle, along with my laptop, camera etc. I thought vehicle was locked, but passenger door was I think jammed open on door rubber after I scrambled out of it.
So if anyone hears of anyone selling a mesh bag of twelve ice screws, mostly Black Diamond Turbo Express, half a dozen assorted pegs, a Warthog and an Abolokov threader. A brand new, unworn gold Crux Shok jacket (Large). A green Lowe Alpine Attack 45 containing two pairs of Rab guide pants, two new Simond blue/grey thermal shirts, a pair black Mountain Equipment salopettes, five pairs of new Quechua socks, green Petzl Spatha knife and assorted other bits and pieces, or an oldish 50m DMM blue half rope, please could you let me know.
Myself and Land Rover both fine. Just feeling v unlucky that some scrote came past on a rarely travelled road in the twenty minutes I was away and felt free to lift my gear. Given that they took ice screws etc, probably a climber too" ....
