Advice please
02 td4 auto.
Starts and drive's like a dream until it's up to temperature then won't start till temperature drops.
Thermostat is stuck open and have new one but don't want to install as car will get up to temperature faster making it difficult to stop and go.
Any idea what's the matter

Most likely cam sensor take the car for a drive round and back to your home, so when you try to start it again while hot, remove the cam sensor 5mm socket, stick it in the freezer for about 5 minutes refit to the car and see if the car starts right away if so then you have your proof, change it out a a known good one or new one.

Hello.
Your first post should really have been in here, unless of course you just want your question answered for free and never be seen again.

Thank you for that. New hear and not really sure what goes where..
I have 2 freelanders ( brave or long suffering?) a 02 td4 5 door auto and a 05 td4 face lift 5door manual, on which I do all the work myself. So I am happy to give information and my experience in exchange.
Correct me if I am wrong
Regards
