I'm looking for wheel arch liner for '02 TD4 Freelander (front passenger side) - anyone know where these can be bought? I haven't called dealer yet but assume they will be a fortune from there.

Contacted main stealer - £70 quid inc VAT for parts. It around £50 if you don't have a airblast cooler (whatever that is - the parts guy didn't seem to know).

Seems a lot for a bit of plastic!

Any ideas on cheap sources?

Just looked into this "air blast cooler" - says it only an addition on the hot climate variety of the stepronic - anyone confirm as the wheel arch liner is about £20 quid cheaper if you don't have this. 02 TD4 Steptronic

Update on this, managed to get dealer to settle for 56 inc VAT plus all fitting screws/scrivetts. Same from Rimmer was near £70 so it pays to haggle with dealer. Mine are also doing a price match on tyres making equiv to best price I could get online.

Well done mate, was it a main LR dealer?

Yes main stealer - i was suprised too. probably charge me £50 for the screws knowing them!

I noticed this with VW also - original parts from dealer were coming in cheaper than those on ebay/independants etc - always worth checking i guess

Without a doubt, it's usually the labour that MDs screw you on. Had to buy some Audi parts from MD a few times but always get em fitted elsewhere.
