Freelander V6 idle problem

I'm hoping someone can help please.? Managed to rebuild the KV6 engine and had a new Jatco box from Ashcrofts fitted. Only problem now is the idle speed which sits at 1100 rpm, also sometimes struggles to start when hot. Checked the throttle postion sensor and the fast idle motor and both appear OK. New crankcase breather hoses fitted too. Wondered if an air leak in or about the manifold might be the cause

Any ideas..??

Check the cam and crank sensors if it's struggling to start when warm or cutting out when at operating temperature. Tends to be the crank one more usually. The new versions are better quality than the original German ****e.
