Hi folks after a bit of info. please. Apart from the high pressure fuel pump mounted on the engine does it also have a lift pump in the fuel tank ?
I'm very pleased overall with my Disco Td5 :-
I've had her for 7 years now. Covered about 80,000 miles and overall I think she's pretty damn good. Whilst mentioning this apart from one head gasket, 4 rear suspension air bags, removal of the EGR coolant tank she's served me proud. It does have an intermittent power loss though !
This is how it goes -
Start up, drive off with hardly any power and usually after 5 seconds it's as if some ones turned the fuel on ! I've various ideas what it could be but would welcome any input many thanks in advance regards Nick. :search:
