Freelander TD4 -Dashboard error

Hello,
Thank you or letting me join this forum, I driver a 52 plate freelander td4, I have had it about 18months,
I have this 1 problem I can't saem to repair, just wondering if anyone has any ideas,
When the car gets hot or is been in the sun all day and I go to use it I get the word ERROR on the dash, and will only go was the car gets cold over night, been unable to find a reason for this so far,

The canbus uses the display binnacle as a hub. Sometimes the solder cracks or component's become lose. This causes a fault within the dash.

It's easier to buy a second hand unit off eBay than to repair it. Only the odometer will show the mileage of the car it came from, no big deal, not an M.O.T problem.

If it's any consolation, your fault is nowhere near as spectacular as what mine did

Changing the binnacle is very easy, around 10 minutes. Just try to get one from a 2000-2003 model, pre facelift.
