Freelander TD4 air con compressor problem

Hi everyone im John and new to land rovers just picked up a 2004 freelancer td4 with a noisey air con compressor squeaky whine can anything be done or is it a new compresser I would imagine it's an expensive job

It could be the bearing in the pulley wheel which can be replaced.
