Could someone please let me know how to find the inlet air temp sensor on my freelander please?

The Iat is part of the air flow meter,take off the acoustic hood and look at the end of the air filter - the afm is attached to it.There is a single multiplug on the top of it.Very common for them to fail - usually resulting in very poor performance.

Anyone have a photo of how to do this? This is my first Diesel and it took me a few days digging arround to find out where the air filter is, but I have no idea how to get to it. Thanks for the help!!!!

Cant help with a photo,you could try buying a rave cd off e-bay - this will have all the info you need.Why are you looking for the Iat ?

I have a mod thats suppose to hook into that, has anyone heard of these to increase HP?
