Hi, i seem to have a problem on my 2001 v6, it seems to shake like a washing machine when it gets abover 40 but only under load when i coast it goes away and is nice and smooth as soon as i hit the gas it starts to really shake, i took it to a garage he said he removed the prop shaft and it still did it and had no idea what it could be, can anyone shed any light on this one ;-)

Get under your vehicle and check your drive shafts.Use the search forum button at the top right of the main freelander page. You will find info on how to check "drive shaft".It could be many other things too,but it sounds like a prob I had recently.

Welcome to landyzone.

Thanks Irish, im taking it to landrover today to get them to have a look at it, i have just had the timimg belts done, but have to say it started shaking before that so im kinda thinking that side of things are ok, im gonna get a new manafold aswell as it has that nasty valve rattle,
Thanks Guys ill keep you posted ;-)

Get a fannymould from a rover75. Thems is cheaper.
Wot makes yu think it aint the VIZ valves causing intake problems?
