I have been having problems with my freelander DI I can see from some of the posts I'm not alone, my landy first starts no prob but then sometimes after I have stopped it wont start again it might take a couple of goes or like lastnight an hour of trying, last night when I finally got it to go I had no power steering, hardly any breaks and the battery light stayed on, limped home to find a belt had come off.... happy days! any ideas very welcome........ except a hammer...... love my landy so not an option lol

Thanks for your replies, god knows when the belts were changed last ( only had it a couple of months). The belt looks pretty well chewed, been for a replacement but the nice guys have sold me one twice the length of the one that came off lol so the other half will have to have another go when we change it, fingers crossed that Optimus is right and it sorts the starting prob out too.
